And last but not least
Do I have to say his name?
Do I have to speak his name?
Do I have to say his name?

In this corner, king of the world, master of the universe, weighing in at 260 pounds: The Big Man, Clarence Clemons.

Anonymous said: Any sad bruce songs to listen to when I'm feeling down, to feel comforted?

This is a great question!
For the record my favorite sad Bruce song of all time is “Shut Out the Light”. I literally cry every time (especially when it’s the extended version from the Unsatisfied Heart bootleg). Oh and of course “Two Faces” and “Over the Rise” are very close runner-ups. These definitely won’t comfort you though anon, but fortunately there are many that will and here’s a pretty good list:

When You Need Me
Janey Don’t You Lose Heart
Take ‘Em As They Come
Land of Hope and Dreams (“well darlin’ if you’re weary lay your head upon my chest” is THE BEST PART)
O Mary Don’t You Weep
Reason to Believe
Dream Baby Dream
Soul Driver (BEST)
Atlantic City (the chorus always comforts me for some reason)
Sad Eyes
Lonesome Day
My City of Ruins
Paradise
Into the Fire (most of The Rising album actually haha)
Devils & Dust
Rocky Ground
Human Touch
Down in the Hole
This Depression
I’ll Work For Your Love (especially the solo acoustic version from the 7/31/2012 Helsinki pre-show)
No Surrender (solo acoustic from the same acoustic pre-show)
A Good Man is Hard to Find (not necessarily comforting, but perfect if you’re lovesick)
Hunter of Invisible Game (the short film will also cheer you up omfg)
Jungleland (THAT ENDING)
Long Walk Home
Blood Brothers
Valentine’s Day
We Are Alive
The Wrestler
New York City Serenade (“so walk tall or baby don’t walk at all”

My answer got cut off by tumblr omfg here’s the rest:

Here’s a few songs that aren’t necessarily sad, but that usually cheer me up:
Dancing in the Dark
My Love Will Not Let You Down (especially the version from San Siro, but of course I’m biased)
Without You
Quarter to Three
Save My Love
Waitin’ on a Sunny Day
What Love Can Do
Rosalita
Shout (BEST)
Radio Nowhere
Sherry Darling
Wrecking Ball
Badlands
The Promised Land
Better Days
Leap of Faith
You’ve Got It (I could literally listen to this song all day)

Thanks anon!

And if any of guys think I missed a song or something feel free to reply or reblog and add it!
